Most people who have lived in
Kansas City don’t even know some of the great finds that we offer. I was born
here in Kansas and have lived here my entire life. For those of you who travel,
you know the typical stereotype of Kansans. No, I do not live on a farm and
never plan on it. I love life and am always trying to better myself as a person
and am always looking for a great journey.

The Seasons of Kansas City
Winter

hot chocolate. It doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, or if there is a blizzard… we go regardless.
Spring
Spring is the season of new
beautiful things emerging from the earth and the crisp air has something
contagious in it. Throughout Kansas City live music comes back to the streets
and the fountains are turned back on. This is the time to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
For those fellow nerds like myself I go geocaching. Geocaching is an adult
scavenger hunt that allows you to get together with friends and play with your
inner child.
Summer
My favorite thing to do in the
summer time is go to Sporting Kansas City soccer games. My friends and I will usually
get some of the, MUST HAVE BEFORE YOU DIE, Oklahoma Joes for dinner and then
head to the games.
Everyone gets so into the game and those people who never
thought to like a Kansas City Team (no offense) are screaming at the refs and
trying to get on the Jumbo Tran. It’s the energy of all the people around you
that makes it such a great experience.
Fall

Fall
During the fall it becomes harder
for the homeless to live due to the weather changing. In High School, every
Wednesday, I would go downtown and help serve food to the homeless. This not
only made me appreciative of what I had, but made me grow as a person. This
made me passionate and kind, it also helped me realize that I wanted to
continuously give back to those less fortunate. So in a way you can say that
Kansas City gave me my good hospitality akills and helped shape and humble me as a
person.
Kansas City has always brought out
the best in me. Every time I travel downtown I always find a new escapade and
great story to share. Everything that Kansas City has to offer brings you
closer to your family and to strangers, because here we are all the same. Even
though we might all share different interests everyone finds certain experiences
about their home that makes them want to share with others. There are so many
more things that I adore about this place other than what I mentioned, but I
hope you understand the love I have for my city.
